BiCon is an annual long-weekend gathering for bisexual people, their friends, partners and anyone with a supportive interest in bisexuality. There are discussion groups and workshops all day and social space & entertainment in the evening. BiCon is a community event run entirely by volunteers and aims to be accessible to everyone who would like to attend. Ticket prices range on a sliding scale (based on your income), with day tickets available from £12 (unwaged). We also have a "helping hand" fund for people who might not otherwise be able to come to BiCon.

Use the links at the top-left of this page to find your way around this site. There's a wealth of information about this year's venue, together with booking and timetable details. If you've never been to BiCon before, do check out the "New to BiCon" page where you'll find some good practical help on what happens where, plus some handy hints and tips on making the most from the event.

This year we would like to extend a particularly warm welcome to people living in the West Midlands and South West – we are your local "bi" event, so why not pay us a visit, even if just for a day?

The booking deadline for on-site accommodation has now passed. But if you're just coming for the day, or making your own overnight arrangements, you can still turn up on the day and buy an event pass at the BiCon reception desk. Prices are on the "booking a place" page.

If you have any questions please do get in touch with us. Our contact details are on the "Contact Us" link at the left of on this page.

(Archivist's note: The bicon2009.org.uk website was created and managed in a particular content management system, and we do not have a copy of that or an HTML version of the site. So the copy at archive.org has translated into a WordPress-based site, but as archive.org did not retain the original layout, that has had to be recreated. Because of how the original CMS worked, it's also sometimes unclear when news posts were made and some dates for those are approximate. Archive.org is sadly missing all the pictures and other files too, including the booking form and programme booklet. Several typos have also been corrected, but apart from all that the content is mostly as it was in September 2009 🙂 )
